Caregiving through this pandemic can feel lonely, and it's not an easy task to find new types of supports and services when a lot of the resources we used to use are on an indefinite pause. With the weather growing colder, now is a great time to connect with other families to share what is working for you and find out about the resources they are connecting with in the local area.
Geared towards individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, this event is a change for families to connect with each other safely while also providing space for them to share about their experience with the pandemic and how they've been able to connect with supports and services.
Maybe something you've been doing will work really well for someone else! Maybe you'll learn about some activities or supports that you didn't know existed. There's a lot of supports working to find new ways to offer their services, and this is a great chance to share about what is (or isn't) connecting best for you.
Go to Eventbrite to register and we'll send you the link to join a couple of days before the event. We can't wait to connect with you and hear about your experiences through the pandemic.
